What James Malinchak & Andrea Adams-Miller Share On The Value Of Books, Audio Programs, As Well As DVD Programs By Andrea Adams-Miller

By Rubin Price

Growing up, I was without siblings. Therefore, books were my best friends. All through my teen years and my adulthood, it's a rare occasion that I am not reading a book, investing in a book, or writing a book! As a result, when I met James Malinchak, I was pleased at how frequently he referenced books in his presentations. Books have led me to experience so much culture, business information, personal reflection, and knowledge on a number of subjects which has led me to be quite well-informed on numerous topics!

Among the most poignant stories I recall James mentioning about books happened almost immediately after his appearance on the hit TV show "Secret Millionaire." He shared that after church one day, he, as he usually does, went to the church bookstore to invest in products to read. As he was exiting the store, somebody came to him for help with their business. While James was very happy to talk to them a short while, he said later he was saddened when he realized that nobody had ever asked him what he was reading. He thought if people who desired so much for their businesses just invested in perhaps some the best books he can offer, they can increase their income, too.

This story resonated with me as an serious reader. While I am college educated and certified, I'll always attribute my personal development as a reader one of the most productive educational experiences I could've presented to myself. Regrettably, often I hear people complain about reading, however, currently reading does not have to be troublesome. There are alternatives to the conventional read. There are audio programs as well as DVD programs, so you could listen or watch somebody provide you with excellent educational information on just about any topic you want to learn.

Personally, I am like James when he describes all the books that have affected his life and his business. There is a plethora of books that I read again and again as I get so much more out of them the second, third, or tenth read! Due to my appreciation of his passion for reading and personal self-development, I asked that question of James. I asked the question the person at church failed to do that day. I asked James what he was reading, so I could read those books, too. He not only shared titles that I should own, he offered to let me borrow some of his newly acquired business books that he hadn't had a chance to read yet! I was allowed to borrow these books on the condition I highlight the important information and write comments and suggestions in the margins!

Where as a child, I loved books so much I would not dare write in them, I learned as an adult the best loved books are written in so that you can have a conversation with them and pull out your thoughts and reflections to experience the information at a higher level. Therefore, the requirement to highlight and write in the precious few books I borrowed from James was an exciting opportunity to share information and facts with like-minded people! In that moment of acceptance for the books, I could only think of my friend and co-platinum member, Mr. Danny Brassell, "America's Leading Reading Ambassador." Danny loves books and information so much, he has made a very lucrative career out of sharing his love of reading to educators, parents, and children. Books have made a difference in the lives of some of the most brilliant people!

Lastly, I really encourage you to experience reading for the very first time, whether it be traditional reading, listening to an audio product, or watching a DVD of a mentor sharing their wisdom! The positivity which comes from expanding your knowledge and finding people to share this information can be the greatest addition to conventional college education and formal professional development. If you are perplexed on where to start, check out James Malinchak's, Danny Brassell's, or my books and product since the love of learning comes best when shared by someone who believes in the power of books!
