Many internet marketers make the mistake of forming goals that are unreachable and then, when they see a hurdle, they give up. Instead of having one big, massive goal, have daily tasks that you can achieve and feel happy about. Unlike the real world where you can just communicate with someone to buy your product, you must rely on sales copy to convince prospects to buy. For that reason, it's important to have sales copy that conveys why your product is beneficial. Having just general info isn't adequate enough, as people typically purchase things online based on emotions they feel. And, you must provide them with how your product will benefit them if you want them to buy what you're offering.
You must learn all there is to learn about your product.
When marketing a product online, whether it is yours or it's an affiliate product, not knowing all there is to know about a product is a big mistake. Your prospects will be able to eye your lack of knowledge about the product the moment you start promoting it to them. That means you should never try to market products until you fully understand them.
All in all, the mistakes we just covered are easy to avoid if you just work hard at it.
