SEO With Good Keyword Search Strategy

By

People are buying and selling across the internet more than ever before. Enterprising entrepreneurs are making a quality living by marketing products or services to the millions that surf the internet every day and there is no signs of this trend slowing down. To be successful on the internet you must have customers, and to get these customers you must get them to visit your site. How do you get people you have no relationship with to visit your site? Simple, proper keyword search strategy and search engine optimization techniques.
A very easy concept that can be a little tricky to manipulate, ranking on the first page of the search engines is the best way to get quality traffic to your website or blog. The internet is fiercely competitive, fast-paced and always changing. There are millions of websites out there, marketing to millions of different niches, I'm sure many of these already existing sites are a lot like yours. So how do you stand out from the pack and rise above the competition?
To get web surfers to visit your site first you must rank well in the search engines.
We've all used search engines so as a website or blog master you know how helpful and vitally important ranking on the first page of the popular search engines is. Sites that rank on the 10th page of the search engines are much less likely to get any traffic through keyword searches.
So just how do you get ranked on the first page of the top search engines? Proper search engine optimization can find you in the top three sites of the any search engine for your keywords if you use good keyword search strategy and properly optimize your website or blog using your chosen keywords.
When search engines crawl your web pages, they are looking for one thing: keywords. Picking the best keywords for your site involves a rather strict keyword search strategy. Your chosen keywords should have a good monthly search volume of at least 1000 and low competition. Low competition is a keyword that has 5000 or less other sites ranking for that keyword.
Finding good keywords can be time-consuming. If you are doing your search manually, plan to spend two days looking for good keywords. Use Google keyword search tool and find possible keywords for your site, then manually plug each keyword that has at least 1000 global monthly searches in the Google search bar in quotation marks to see how many sites are trying to rank for that keyword.
If you have the budget for it, you can purchase keyword search software that can do all of this labor for you. All you need to do, in most cases, is type in your niche and the software will create a report with thousands of possible keywords for you to use and all you have to do is find those with the least competition that are appropriate for your niche.
Try to find five quality keywords that you want your site to rank for. You will have your main keyword, which you will put in your domain name and then four other keywords that your site will rank for over time. Having five keywords driving traffic to your site is much better than just one.
Now that you have your chosen keywords you want to initially focus on your main keyword. As I said earlier, if at all possible put your main keyword in your domain name. You main keyword must appear throughout you site. If you already have a domain name and you find that it isn't a very good keyword, don't worry, you can still optimize your site for you new main keyword.
You must provide quality content in the form of articles, posts, reviews or reports on your site that use your keywords. Your keywords should appear in page titles, subtitles, meta-tags, and within your articles.
For articles you want your keywords to appear in the title, the first and last paragraph of the article and at least once in the body of the article. No your articles don't need to be very long as most visitors to your site will most likely just skim the article and not read every single word, but you still want to provide quality content. Don't make a sales pitch in your articles, provide information and solution to problems those who use your products may have.
Search engine optimization and proper keyword search strategy are a winning combination when done properly. The best advice I can give is to take your time with this. So often people are in such a rush to make money that they don't take the time to properly set up their sites; instead of focusing on getting your site up, focus on designing a site that will easily attract visitors.
After 2 years of internet marketing I am finally starting to see real results and it all came to be when I learned the best keyword search strategy. My blog is aimed at helping those who are struggling or new to internet marketing get their footing right from the get go. http://www.affiliatesguidemakemoneyonline.blogspot.com/
